How to edit a YouTube video
I recently had someone ask on one of my blogs - "How can I rip a YouTube video and edit it with Windows Movie Maker?" Well the following worked for me, so I thought I would share it with you. I'll keep it short so if you want me to expand on things then please leave a comment. Here goes, 1. Go to http://keepvid.com 2. Enter the URL of the required YouTube video 3. Download the MP4 version offered to you 4. Install the latest version of VideoLan (1.0.5 at this very moment) 5. Convert and Save to WMV format. 6. Open Windows Movie Maker and import the WMV file. I'd be interested to know if any of this didn't work for you.
