Stream to your Xbox 360 from Windows XP

  • Start up both machines.
  • On the PC open up Windows Media Player and right-click on "Now Playing". Select "More options..." and a grey dialogue box will pop up.
  • Select the "Library" tab and click on the "Configure Sharing..." button.
  • Another grey dialogue box will pop up. Make sure the "Share my media to:" box is ticked and select your Xbox 360 from the list below. Click the "Allow" button. Click "OK" and this pop up will close.
  • Now click the "Monitor Folders..." button. A grey pop up dialogue appears. Select your preferred folder option and click "OK". This takes a short while to analyze your folders and files. Now click "Close".
  • On your Xbox 360 navigate to your Video Library. Select your PC from the source list then navigate to your file of choice and away you go.
