Microsoft Word and double spacing of lines

Tip - Before you do anything in MS Word, make sure you change the style option to "No Spacing". It's a pretty basic thing don't you think? Who wants to have huge spaces between lines of text? Not many. This is what Word 2007 shows when you hover over the "Normal" style option:- Line spacing: Multiple 1.15 li I just find it amazing that people don't abandon MS Office all together. Somehow, no matter how annoying it is, MS have managed to get Office to be accepted as the world wide standard. Thank goodness for PDF, our only saviour. I refuse to provide word document files wherever possible. I use Open Office and export to PDF. Call me awkward and you may well do if you haven't tried Open Office. Give it a go, it's FREE.
