European Animation Masterclass at the âMitteldeutschen Multimediazentrum MMZâ in Halle (Gemany)
Seat of the European Animation Masterclass is the âMitteldeutsche Multimediazentrum MMZâ (Multimedia Center of Central Germany). In the MMZ, 12 international animation students delight in the higher education course with the best trainers in the world. The MMZ actively supports the higher education and the networking of European animation artists. This was also the reason why MMZ-director Ms Katerina Hagen conducted talks with the European partner schools in Prague. Says Ms Hagen: â We are quite pleased and proud on the quality and the achievements of the animtation education, which so far we have accomplished at the MMZ. The sixth times already, we have very ambitious students from 8 countries as well as some of the world-leading trainers here at the MMZ in Halle. These factors greatly contribute to our position as one of the most vital spot for the animation film industry in Europe.â The EAM is run by the International Academy of Media and Arts, which is located at the MMZ. Joint partners are the MEDIA program of the European Union, the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, as well as the two companies Bavaria and MotionWorks.
