The direct tv remote is in there because 90% of what you reckon is new from dish is just returned junk from the previous customer, who returned it including the incorrect remote because the customer before him got tired of being transferred to advanced support due to 002 and 015 on perfectly clear days and then expected to pay $90 + for a tech to come out and lie to them about something that has only been installed for 2 months and failed, and so the list goes on..
