Customers of JAR Technologies use their emulators for a wide variety of purposes, such as the performance testing of software under realistic end-user network conditions early in the development lifecycle. Both models can impair traffic sent across them at full line rate, allowing users to emulate a wide variety of WANs under the realistic conditions known, expected or captured on the target network.
Shamrock 10000 Series
The Shamrock 10,000 series of WAN emulators provide 10 Gbps interfaces with either 2 or 4 network ports to emulate high throughput connections on your LAN. Up to 20 independent emulations can be performed with powerful filtering including IP, VLAN, MPLS etc. available to direct traffic as required. The 10,000 series can be shipped with lower throughput levels for customers who need integration with 10 Gbps interfaces, but who would not need the full line rate available. The 10,000 series is often most applicable to large scale IT implementations, such as data centre relocations, significant networked technology upgrades and so on.
