How Social SnapTags Work
Social SnapTags feature Facebook or Twitter icons that are placed on print and digital mediums to give consumers an opportunity to LIKE or FOLLOW a brand. Consumers with an Android or iPhone scan the Social SnapTag with the SnapTag Reader App while those with standard camera phones simply snap and send a picture of the Social SnapTag to the designated short code. To accelerate consumer engagement, marketers have the opportunity to incentivize consumers who LIKE their brands with special offers like access to sweepstakes entries, exclusive content, free samples and discounts. Consumers can instantly share offers with their friends. This turnkey tool allows consumers to share brand offers by activating a Facebook post, Tweeting or emailing their friends directly from their mobile phone, thus extending the footprint of the Social SnapTag campaign substantially. 漢字演變汉字演变History Change of Hanji_01
Produced by Chu Bang Fu studio(www.cbflabs.com),introducing the history change of Chinese word. Chu Bong-Foo was born in 1937 in Hubei province in China. In the 1960s, Chu wanted to go to Brazil and immerse himself in the culture. While there, he also studied composition in the Masters Program of the Bahia University School of Music. An opportunity arose in the 1970s that called for him to apply his various talents to organize investors in a major agricultural project in Brazil. This venture did not turn out as planned. Bankrupt, destitute, and unable to return to Taiwan, Chu encountered a hippy group that represented the best aspects of that movement; their monastic practices, rejection of material civilization, and pursuit of the truth attracted him. At 36 years old, he ended up in the largest publishing house in Brazil. Aware of the extensive delays for printing Chinese books, the speed for publishing a book written with the roman alphabet astounded him. From the time the author submitted the draft to the publishing house for editing, printing and available for shipping, it only took twelve hours. He thought that if books in China could be processed as efficiently, Chinese could save their culture from inundation by Western influences. In 1973, perceiving the role computers would play in the future, he knew Chinese characters must be rendered completely compatible with the machine of the next era. Based on his research, he then developed the Cang Jie method to allow ...

Laurel, MD (PRWEB) August 24, 2011

Recently Tampa, FL police thwarted plan to bomb Freedom High School after receiving a phone tip. This incident once again brings to question. How can we keep our schools safe from these events not to mention drugs, guns assaults and other activities?

Since its introduction in Boston in 2008, law enforcement has found text-tip lines effective in securing leads that have resulted in the stopping or solving of many crimes. During Boston’s first year, the system received 694 tips via text message. Twice the number received on previous voice tip lines. “We haven’t had any negative experiences with the program,” says Charbonnier. “Adding Text-a-Tip has given the Crime Stoppers Unit new life.”

Students are far more likely to text than call. However, until now, an effective two-way text-tip systems that allows students to text to schools the way they text their friends were not available. Evolve Mobile Communications, Inc. innovative patent pending technology, called Text2Chat, is the first permitting students to contact schools by two-way text messaging. It doesn’t just allow students to send a text message but allows them to hold a two-way text conversation with school systems as well.

With text-tip lines "If somebody hears Johnny is going to bring a gun to school, hopefully they'll text that in," said Sgt. Brian Bernardi of the Louisville, Ky., Metro Police Department, which rolled out its text-message tip line in June

Not Just for Security Uses
Most text message alert systems sit and wait for an emergency so you can use them. With Text2Chat the system is used as everyday communication for students, parents and teachers. In addition to its use as a reporting or tip-line, Text2Chat can be used to broadcast school closings, truancy notices, meeting reminders, sports game cancellations, or announce club meetings, game results etc. to students and parents.

Since students prefer texting far more than other means of contacting them it makes sense for schools to switch to the method most likely to reach students with information:
Studies by Ball State in Indiana, show that texting is the method of communication overwhelmingly preferred by students: Text Message 37%, email 26%, Social networking IM 15%, Instant Messaging 11%, Social networking email 11%.

Text2Chat text for schools allows schools to establish auto response text messages, text forwarding to another department, and a live two-way chat operator option. “Simply put, it works like a voice phone system. Anything you can do with a phone system network you can now do by text with Text2Chat,” says Alvin Butler. Furthermore studies have also shown that providing a text option can reduce call center cost by as much as 83%!

Now we can take what could only be done with voice phones and do it by text and at a cost of less than $ 3 per student per year. This is certainly something that is welcome news for school administrators as well as our teens.
